After graduating from Hewitt-Trussville High School, Adlai Trone walked on to play football for the Auburn Tigers, eventually earning a spot as a three-year letterman. He later played professionally for the Birmingham Steeldogs in 2000 and 2001. Additionally, his commitment to Birmingham education reflects his roots, as he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University. He later enhanced his qualifications with a master’s degree in financial planning from the University of Alabama, further contributing to community building.
Since 2009, Adlai Trone has worked within the Birmingham education system, teaching and mentoring students at Carver, Parker, Glenn, Jackson-Olin, and Bush Hills Academy. He also coaches football and baseball at Jackson-Olin High School, contributing to community building by shaping young lives both in the classroom and on the field. "Every day in our schools has reminded me how powerful it is when our young people see someone who looks like them, who understands them, and who believes in their potential."
